oktak was founded by Aki Takada, a Manhattan-based creator. Aki designs the products and creates them from scratch.

oktak bags and baby goods are made of 100% cotton fabric, some of which are rare vintage textiles from the 60's or 70's. One exception is the line of "rainy day bags" made of bright-colored, water-repellent fabric.
